On being cheered as a heel: “They (fans) come to realize and recognize someone who puts in the hard work and puts it all on the line no matter what… I go out there to put it all on the line. I want to put the best possible show on for these fans, and they realize that and respect it.” …
On working with Vickie Guerrero: “She goes out there and gets a reaction that no one else in this company gets… Whether you like her or hate her, a giant reaction and everyone dying to see her, that’s the attraction. That’s called being a draw in the business. People want to see her get beat up or see her beat someone up,. They want to see what she’s going to do. I think the two of us make a hell of a great team”
