I like the way – this last IMPACT – AJ was doing his promo at the end of the show, and some people were starting that immature annoying YES cr*p – but AJ hooked them back in and did well in the promo, and the people started chanting AJ.

Great job on his part and AJ’s promos are improving.

Glad Dixie is giving him the ball.

TNA has been doing all the right things lately.

You know – people act like TNA storylines are bad, and WWE is so much better and has the market cornered in storylines.

    There isn’t any difference.

So now the brass in the company is stacking the deck against some goatface to keep him from becoming champ.

OH WOW! Who’s the writer? Mario Puzo?

Besides being done before and better – is that really so profound?

I think TNA has better stories going on personally.

There is no big difference in storylines.

THIS, good people, is the stuff I write that the Universe goes haywire over.

Because people try to act like WWE is so much better, and I point out they’re not.

And back it up with fact.

Just like I point out that TNA is in the EXACT same boat as WWE and like you, I back it up with FACT. Like with many things, execution is key. For instance, the summer/year of AJ storyline is arguably one of the better storylines TNA has going currently because of its execution (despite it being predictable since last year’s BFG).

On the flip side, anything involving the MMA guys (at least Quinton and Tito) would be considered “poor storylines.” Assuming they fight multiple times in a year, you really can’t be invested in any of their storylines (as individuals) knowing that it won’t be long until they need to be written off of TV (again). Another example would be the “Claire Lynch” angle. As previously stated, execution is key with regards to the success or failure of a storyline.

        Stay at WI, X2C.

        So obvious.

Don’t flatter yourself buddy. I still don’t know who this X2C is or what WI is (unless you really have a fetish for Wisconsin). You’re just unwilling to accept that other posters can make valid counter claims to anything that comes out of your mouth.

Maybe you’ll actually learn something once those rose colored glasses you’re wearing finally come off.

last year they tried to turn austin aries into punk and that failed horribly because aries doesn’t have the charisma or mic ability to pull it off

this year they tried to recreate crow sting from 1997 with aj styles playing the part and they pulled the plug on that early because styles is nowhere near the level that a prime sting was in terms of character development

then they tried to turn chris sabin into their very own daniel bryan not realising bryans been getting more and more over by the week for 2 years now, sabin of course failed and is now back in the x-division picture where you can see him appearing on tv once a month

now they are trying to make aj their own cm punk….lets predict how this one will play out shall we, punks one of the greatest mic workers in history who made nash look silly and left the rock speechless and styles is, to be kind, not very good on the stick
