Randy Orton and John Cena’s past issues are said to be due to Orton calling Cena out at the time “for what he was.” As previously reported, Kenn Doane/Dykstra recently stated on Twitter that he believes Cena is lobbying to get Orton fired over his latest wellness violation.

A source within the company said that while the relationship between the two is more amicable now, their issues were prevalent as recently as 2006 because as Cena gained more clout in the company, he took on a “hard-ass coach” role similar to that of JBL. Orton, who was also gaining leverage backstage, stood up for himself against Cena.

    Interesting, Cena is coming off lately as a bit of an arse, which will not please the office. We know he’s WWE 110% but the last month or so of reports re: the divorce, Mickie James and stuff like this shows him in a very negative light.
    Not feeling much sympathy for Orton though, always get the impression he attracts trouble and brings most of his misfortunes (injuries aside) on himself.

      In my opinion Cena is an arse. I do not know why everyone seems to want to carry around his jock? Cena sucks in the ring and the only thing he has going is his mic skills. Could Cena change that annoying ring entrance music already!!!?
      I forgot….he sells merchandise to kids by releasing a different color Tshirt every other week and wwe knows that it will suck more money out of people.
      Tell Fruity Pebbles that he should learn that losing a match every once in a while will make him look more credible. I hear another title run may be near…yawn.
      One last thing….why is the five knuckle shuffle move that he does in the ring get such a pop? That move is so slow and ignorant.

    WWE, in the past, has been known to side with wrestlers that have stroke in the company that take on a leadership/bullying role (JBL, Triple H, HBK, etc.) and Cena is no exception. Orton is notorious for not being a “company guy” and that was shown early on when Orton was in Evolution.

    In my opinion Cena is an arse. He has let his success go to his head. He would not be so popular if it was not for all of the Merchandise he sells and the undeserved push he gets. Lets face it, the guy sucks in the ring. He has mic skills and that is about it.
    I hear another title shot may be in line for Cena….yawn. Cena needs to learn how to lose a match once in a while so he would look more credible. Brock should have beat him easily…but of course Cena gets to Hulk out and win after getting his arse handed to him. I miss the days of good wrestling on TV. The NWA/WCW had the best wrestling ever.
