With WrestleMania XXX only five months away, WWE officials are working on the card for the pay-per-view event. However, much of the card will hinge on whether agreements with inactive individuals can be made, such as former World Heavyweight Champions Goldberg and Sting. Here is the proposed card for the event.

* A match pitting Triple H against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for control of WWE, with Austin representing Vince McMahon, is not expected to occur.

* WWE officials want to secure Sting, whose contract with TNA Wrestling is set to expire, for the event and have him face The Undertaker. The fallback plan is Undertaker facing Brock Lesnar as originally scheduled.

* WWE officials are very interested in securing Goldberg for the show and having him face Ryback. If a deal falls through, Ryback will instead face Big Show. However, if WWE is able to secure Goldberg, Ryback will then face Big Show at Elimination Chamber.

* CM Punk facing Randy Orton is currently planned for the event. Punk had been planned to win the 30-Man Royal Rumble to receive the accompanying World Title shot, but current talk has the winner facing the holder of the World Heavyweight Championship.

* While Shawn Michaels has denied the possibility of wrestling again, there are people within WWE who wholeheartedly believe that he will face Daniel Bryan on the show.

* Goldust is scheduled to turn on Cody Rhodes, leading to the match both have requested for years. Company officials are pleased with Goldust’s work since returning to the promotion a few weeks ago: he’s exceeded all expectations.

Meanwhile, the ongoing Triple H vs. Big Show feud will not culminate at the event. A match between both individuals is scheduled to occur between December and February at Elimination Chamber.

That card just sounds terrible – I’d rather watch the guys in TNA than this garbage.

WWE is running out of match-ups – they bring back the old guys – the guy with poop problems, the guy with guts falling out of his stomach, Hickenbottom.

I bet Williams doesn’t show up.

All you hear on these sites is how pathetic Sting is, wearing a shirt, etc. – and now the Universe is in worship mode.

But that card sounds terrible – they will have hype and the Universe will be drooling – but when you get down to it – pure garbage. And not even close.

If Animal Killer Napoleonic Complex Hickenbottom comes back – it’ss show what a low-life he is and that his word means nothing – because he said he’d never come back.

Brooks vs AWOL BOrton? Main Event of the 30th Mania? BLAH!

MAN I hate WWE and its fans.

wwe running out of matches, ah undertaker vs cena, undertaker vs lesnar, undertaker vs rock. rock vs lesnar. bryan vs lesnar. bryan vs hhh, bryan vs hbk, bryan vs rock, austin vs punk, austin vs cena, hogan vs cena, orton vs lesnar, orton vs rock….all big money matches in the future and all brand new or just happened once over a decade ago

tell me what the big money matches tna can put on in their future. every match there has been done to death a million times already and nobody is buying a show to see another aj styles vs angle/joe/roode/daniels match.

He won’t reply because you’ve made some good points and he cannot answer them. He will instead say “Why am I not allowed to hate wwe, and love TNA, its just my opinion – blah, blah, blah” Instead of answering your questions directly. He probably does want to see AJ Styles vs Daniels for the 150th time on PPV.

undertaker against anyone isn’t anything new. hes going to beat who ever he faces. that match lost interest years ago.
and cena wont lose either unless against the rock and even if cena does lose it wont be clean

takers match at mania is one of the big sellers. book cena vs undertaker with cenas career on the line and watch mania do a monster number

that’s because people fall for the hype and put the blinders on. forget reality that cena would be back on tv few weeks later, plus its WM and that’s the one show that more than just the hardcore(3.0 rating) fan watches

It’s true that the outcome of the annual taker match is predictable, but you can’t deny that it is one of the best, if not THE best match on the card. All things considered, a lot of what goes on in wrestling these days is predictable (ex. babyface beatdown to close Raw, AJ Styles winning at BFG & not losing the belt outside of TNA, etc.)

I personally wouldve love to have seen Sting vs Undertaker years ago when they were in their prime. I dont think either of them can live up to the hype that surrounds it now. Both of great workers and try their hardest in the ring but age has slowed them down tremendously. Both have said in past statements that their opponents help carry them in matches. Nonetheless as a die hard TNA fan, seeing my favorite TNA/WCW wrestler going against my favorite WWE wrestler even if just for nostalgia and mystique would still be interesting to watch……even if the only good part of the match is the entrance.

Ignore creatures usual drivel. If wwe can get this card sorted it would be a brilliant highly anticipated monster of a show
