— Victoria Taber, who was part of the cast of the debut season of Tough Enough on MTV (the season Maven and Nidia won) has recently written an E-book about her experience on the show entitled I Am Not Tough Enough (Oh, The Places I Have Been). It was released last October.

— As noted earlier here on the website, Matt Striker offered a suggestion for RAW to showcase unsigned talent. He tweeted Thursday, “Can the 1st hr of RAW be interactive ? 4-6 unsigned talent. Whomever has the most votes gets a match at the end of hour 1. Win n come back.”

One of his followers stated that his suggestion appears similar to TNA Wrestling’s “Gut Check” concept on iMPACT! Wrestling. Striker replied, “I dont watch, sadly, so I dont know if they are- good for them. A lot of good unsigned talent. WWE would make it unique tho.”

— Here are some new upcoming wrestling DVD releases:

1/29 – The Best of RAW and SmackDown 2012 (DVD and Blu)
2/12 – Best of WCW Monday Nitro Volume 2 (DVD and Blu)
2/26 2013 Royal Rumble (DVD and Blu) 3/19 2013 Elimination Chamber (DVD only)

I stopped watching months back, to be honest I don’t even bother reading the news or spoilers about TNA any more, has anything changed?

No. The only time TNA is actually good is when they are doing the hardcore stuff that WWE is not and then it takes exception wrestlers. The last good match I saw and I watch it while playing Battlefield was the Bobby Rhode and James Storm match at Bound for Glory.
