– Trendrr.tv reports that RAW’s total activity score for last night was 250,429, which topped the previous 2012 high of 187,713 the night after the Royal Rumble PPV. For the first time in 2012, RAW was ranked #1 on cable TV in social media activity Monday night.

WrestleReunion the leader in Professional Wrestling Conventions is making its first venture to Canada April 13th-15th 2012. It was back in the early 1960′s that a young Bruno Sammartino was given a chance by legendary promoter Frank Tunney to come to Toronto with the hopes that the strong Italian population of Toronto would embrace the Italian Superman. After staying in Toronto for a few years Bruno Sammartino was summoned back to NY by Vince McMahon Sr. where he became the WWWF World Heavyweight Champion. If you are a fan of professional wrestling you know the story of Bruno Sammartino and the record setting title runs as WWWF Champion. How he headlined arenas around the world to capacity crowds. It was common knowledge that Sammartino was going to retire from appearances outside of a 60-90 mile radius of his Pittsburgh home when he heard we were coming to Toronto he along with his friend and another Wrestler that competed in Toronto many times Domenic DeNucci wanted to come back one more time as a way to say Thank You to the city that catapulted him to word wide fame.

The other man coming to Toronto is Rowdy Roddy Piper. I believe wrestling fans around the world young and old know “Rowdy” Roddy Piper the man with the Golden Sharp Tongue will be appearing once again for us at a WrestleReunion. I have heard Roddy Piper speak many times of his love for Toronto. He has electrified arenas around the world for over 30 years. Whether he is wrestling or hosting one of his Piper’s Pit segments you are never quite sure what you are going to get when the Rowdy One comes to your town. His exploits are well documented in print and or video, now it’s time for you to see Rowdy Roddy Piper live and in color.
