According to a source, WWE is interested in inducting Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. Sammartino has been contacted by WWE, but at this time, there is no word on if Sammartino has given them a response.

For years, Sammartino has turned down offers to work on several projects with WWE and has been critical of Vince McMahon and the WWE as a whole.

    ive been watching for 25 years and sammartino means nothing to me but he does deserve to be in hall of fame, they want a huge name? randy savage! simple. but if they want a big name attendee then they are pretty much fucked

    What about Ultimate Warrior or Goldberg. I know these are not the best wrestlers, but they are big names.

    Savage reportedly never wanted to be in the HOF, why induct him now?

    I doubt Savage will ever go in; Vince has been known to put personal issues aside before, but Savage took his 16 year daughter’s virginity.
