– WrestleCon has confirmed that King Kong Bundy, The Sandman, Barry Horowitz, Jazz, George Steele and Stacy “The Cat” Carter will be appearing at the event, which takes place during WrestleMania 29 weekend. Wrestlecon will feature autograph and photo opportunities as well as live events presented by CZW, EVOLVE, DGUSA, CHIKARA, SHIMMER, $5 Wrestling and Kaiju Big Battel.

– Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro will host the debut of Pro Wrestling Syndicate’s all women’s wrestling promotion B.L.O.W. Wrestling on Thursday, October 11 at the Rahway Recreation Center on 275 East Milton Avenue in Rahway, New Jersey. The event will be broadcast on iPPV and feature eight matches. – As noted, WWE is very worried about talents lashing out at the company and Linda McMahon’s senate opponents finding out about what’s happening in WWE these days. We’re told that nearly half the locker-room wants to step up and say something but know exactly what will happen if they do. They’re “playing it smart” and are going about things in a different manner than they have in the past. According to our sources, things are going to get quite interesting in the coming weeks.

    If they had any sense WWE would turn this into a storyline and do what they failed to do with Nexus, turn a real life situation into a big angle and have a united front against the main-eventers. Some of the breakouts could be Zack Ryder (whose character is totally designed to be heel and would work like the anti-cena), Tyler Reks (don’t know why they bury this guy when he came in on that PPV (bragging rights i believe) he looked like a beast and his finisher looks like it would kill someone), and the Prime Time Playas, who let’s face it are the most over tag team, Kofi and Truth could break up over it and use the anger to give new relevance to the characters (I remember before they went goofy-crazy with R-Truth as a heel, I was sure he would become a world champion, plus the fact he meant “little jimmy” as an insulting term for the average fan and not some imaginary friend was hilarious. With AJ as GM it would be perfect for a hostile takeover since she’s a pushover, I mean at least Big Johnny didn’t skip to the ring, or look like Steph’s mini-me.

      I would love to see such a story play out. Maybe have the Prime Time Playas join and one of the first things they demand is A.W. back. Maybe after several months they have a semi-high profile name jump ship like Cody Rhodes or Ziggler after getting run over for a couple months. I would not even mind seeing Damon Sandow (sp?) finally get his intellectual revolution by leading or at least starting this group

    john prinsky , totally agree – they need AW back to lead that stable. Do the Nexus thing but don’t pussy out like they did last timer. Would be a perfect opening storyline for a late-night WWE show for the adults.

    didnt WCW do this angle 15 years ago when the Main Event wrestlers fought the younger talent? I think Kidman pinned Hogan?

    and didnt TNA just do this as well? Main event mafia?
    plus the Divas of Doom last year…
