Before committing suicide in Daytona Beach, Florida on Oct. 18 from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the forehead, Mike Graham went to Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida, while TNA Wrestling was holding a live iMPACT! Wrestling show two months prior to request a job on their creative writing staff. He was instantly rejected by company officials.

Graham’s reaction was described as being “shocked” to be turned down, since his father, Eddie Graham, an influential Florida wrestling promoter, told he would be hired for any job in wrestling by virtue of his rich family heritage.

your heritage should not guarantee a job in wrestling and im sure Mike Graham knew that. Thats disrespectful to assume he would. I reckon they could have tried him out though, the guy has been around wrestling his whole life and im sure he would have contributed to TNA’s product. they made the same mistake as they did with Chris Kanyon. BOTH those guys would have contributed better than Orlando Jordan and Vince Russo. Some people in TNA are pricks, say what u want about WWE and Vinnie Mac, he understands the history of wrestling and those who paved the way, TNA have no respect
