Those that are close to Triple H have stated that as he gains more power within WWE, that they expect more effort put into tag team wrestling, and less put into the Divas wrestling.

Triple H has been said to never be very high on women’s wrestling, but feels that a solid tag team division is very valuable. While WWE has added female talent to developmental, the feeling is that Triple H will focus on having a few solid workers in the Divas division and keeping the attention on them.

Furthermore, it is said that the days of signing female talents from modeling agencies and magazines are said to be gone. This is something that took place under the reign of John Laurinaitis in charge of talent relations. Triple H wants to more as far away from that way of doing business as possible.

    A smaller, solid womens division is far better than the dross we get at the moment. As Chris says, when we had Lita, Jazz, Victoria, Molly Holly, Ivory, Trish etc the womans division was very strong. Right now there seem to be a few coming through developmental at FCW and on the main roster we have Beth (who could go toe-to-toe with any of the above mentioned) and Natalya, and that’s about it.
    A strong tag division is vital, and glad trips sees that. Said it before, a decade ago most major talents tagged as well as concentrated on singles. Good way to bring attention to the tag scene, to give big names reasons to be in feuds at PPV’s and in storylines and bring through new talents. Edge, Christian, JBL, Jeff and Matt, all came from tags, as did HBK of course. Even Stone Cold made his biggest pre-WWF impact as half of the Hollywood Blondes came from tags.

    It’s good that if that’s the case, they are putting more effort into rebuilding and reestablishing the Tag Team Division in WWE. I still personally think that the Divas Division needs some “attention” as well, but make sure you properly book that division!

    They need a Tag division wiht legit tags like the Uso`s and Prime time Playas just like when there was the Dudleys, Hardys, Edge and Christian and the APA. 3 or 4 tag teams that are only tag teams that can feud among each other and then the odd tag teams made of singles stars that come together for a short period and then break up to feud.

    The Divas division needs to shrink into a solid core of talented wrestlers who are wrestlers first like Beth, Natalya,. Then they need strong character personalities, solid and real stories that creates feuds like back with Trish Stratus and co, even like with Michelle Mccool and Layla when they were ‘Flawless’. Bring in managers for those with mike problems like they do for males superstars and have real stories and not just random matches.

    There was a time when people use to be excited when the tag team matches where on or when a segment involving tag tems were on but these days if a tag team match is on or a segment is on with them i just cant be bothered to watch them because they just cant match up to the days of the hardys and dudley boyz and edge and christian and apa and so on its just got boring and they need to do somethin serious to change everybodies mind about the whole tag team divison altogether !!
