– In an update to our earlier report, Kevin Steen’s show-closing assault on two fans at ROH Boiling Point is reportedly a work. ROH did one hell of a job working the fans (and us!) as they had the two guys in the crowd talking and chanting with regular fans from the beginning of the show to the end. The plan came from Hunter Jonhnston and was intended to get legit heat on Kevin Steen after his heel turn at “Best in the World” in New York City failed. Both of the “fans” were told to sell the attack as a fan would, as opposed to a wrestler, and the second fan–who wrestles as “Mighty Mini” Mark Bourne in the Northeast indies, was hit full-force in the face after he turned the wrong way.

Both men on the receiving end of the attack were students of Bob Evans. Job well done by ROH as they worked even the most loyal & diehard fans of the company. That’s hard to do with the company having such loyal and “smart” fans.

– Here are the updated standings for the TNA Bound for Glory Series, following the Hardcore Justice pay-per-view on Sunday night …

* James Storm – 66 points
* Rob Van Dam – 55 points
* Samoa Joe – 54 points
* Bully Ray – 48 points
* Kurt Angle – 48 points
* Mr. Anderson – 40 points
* A.J. Styles – 36 points
* Jeff Hardy – 35 points
* Daniels – 33 points
* Magnus – 21 points
* The Pope – 7 points
* Robbie E. – 5 points

    AWESOME….now there’s something you don’t read every day….ROH creative should be commended….TNA watch out…in a couple of years ROH could be a threat!

    What I do not understand is why ROH is not already a threat. They are backed by a broadcasting company are they not? They should be getting a prime time slot on a good night and then they should have real PPV’s instead of the iPPV. At least ROH is trying to give fans what they want good wrestling action with less soap opera themed storylines. TNA should be farther along than it is…but thanks to Hogan and his shenanigans…he has only the company. Maybe Joey Ryan can help TNA out and become of the top heels there….maybe even start up his own faction of guys. If Jeff Jarrett is behind the ACES/EIGHTS it is not going to come off very well. Maybe Ryan should be behind it instead?
