CM Punk tells TMZ.com that Abraham Washington’s firing was justified. TMZ caught up with Punk in Beverly Hills and asked him about Washington (calling him “Abraham Johnson”), to which Punk said, “I don’t like to see anybody lose their job, but if anyone’s justified in getting fired, you know…I don’t think it’s that funny.”

    You know, I don’t know why, but I really don’t think CM Punk is all he thinks he is, he was on a red hot run for ~2 months last year, and that was it. But he’s still in his little dreamland thinking he’s the biggest thing going at the minute.

    I used to be a huge Punk fan, he’s boring now.

    Truth be told we dont know what he thinks. Despite a year of stellar performances and a good run as champ WWE doesnt push him as the main event. They continue to push Cena and treat him as the workhorse champ like Benoit, Bret, Kurt, etc. About Abraham Washington mannn this guy really kicked himself out of the door. First with that tasteless joke he knew he shouldnt have been doing in this era. Then by making it much worse for himself by publicly endorsing a politician. Hey I’m that guy that made a rape joke on a tv-PG show and I think you should vote for Linda what a moron. He has nobody to blame but himself. If he had just kept his head down apologized and tried to work through he might have had this whole thing blow over.
