Vince McMahon’s latest directive is to not mention the names of cities that he believes are “not big league”. Basically, if Vince doesn’t feel that the city is big enough, he doesn’t want there to be any mention on TV.

On Monday night for RAW, he gave the word not to mention “Fort Wayne, Indiana” on the air. He also made the same call for the June 5th SmackDown in Columbia, South Carolina.

    What an absolute crock of sh*t, if that’s true then it’s pathetic. Who’s he to decide what’s big league or not? When WWE come to the UK I suppose every live event will have to be announced as London (even though Birmingham has 2 million people, Liverpool is the home of the Beatles, etc, etc, etc)

    Last time I checked Columbia, South Carolina was pretty well known. I guess when they do a show in Stamford, that has to be mentioned for sure, even though it would be considered small time by other’s.

    So basically this man who wants his company to be trending everywhere.Wants them buyin his ppvs,games and toys clothing all that.The same people he will want to buy WWE newtowrk.He is telling them they are not good enough to give up your money to him then go fuck yourself.Be a star Vince people in less known areas have feeling too.However the products is so shitty right now that people shouldn`t mind anyways.

    What Vince has to realize is that no matter how much he changes terminology.Mentions certain things hide other things.Wrestling will never escape be being wrasslin in the eyes of the majority.He risk alienating certain true fans.(More so from spending time on this while the product obviouly needs the attention.)While trying to cater to a certain segment of people,who for a number of different reasons will never care.I think he is thinking expansion.To me this just comes off as wrong.

    It is ABSOLUTELY mind boggling that the Chairman & CEO of the WWE, Vince McMahon… wants city names that “he” believes that are “not big league”. I mean, come on now! Now he doesn’t want to acknowledge “those” cities nor being mentioned anymore? Yep, Vince sure has that ego frying with him, no doubt! He’s THAT crazy too!
