– Tom Jenkins sent word that after this week’s 1,000th RAW telecast went off the air, The Rock and John Cena teamed up to clear The Big Show from the ring. Cena gave him the AA while The Rock hit the People’s Elbow. John Cena and The Rock had a little fun with Cena’s arm band to end the show. Rock didn’t bring his elbow pad so Cena gave him his arm band for the people’s elbow.. Rock grabbed a microphone and thanked the fans for coming, sending them home happy.
– Monday night’s 1,000th RAW drew a crowd of 18,318. The show was a legit sell-out. The show included (among many other things) Charlie Sheen acting as Social Media Ambassador via Skype, a pre-taped message from Regis Philbin congratulating WWE and RAW and an appearance by Sean Mooney, who was on the first-ever RAW.
– Dragon Gate held a big farewell ceremony for PAC in Kobe Hall on Saturday night. As previously reported, PAC is expected to sign with WWE now that he’s done with DGUSA. The whole roster gave speeches praising him and wishing him well. He has reportedly been looking for a place in Tampa to relocate.
