— The reason that Jack Swagger missed WWE’s TV tapings last week was because they took place in Canada. Due to his recent marijuana indictment, he is not allowed to travel to Canada. WWE explained the absence by stating that Swagger refused to go to Canada because he is a real American.

— There was said to be some recent talk about WWE NXT demo promos and vignettes showing up on YouTube. WWE officials were said to not be thrilled about this because it might tip off who they are considering bringing up.

    Can’t go Canada.

When Hardy couldn’t travel to other countries, the Universe ran to the roof and beat on their tom toms.

Swagger? Universe doesn’t even mention it.

I kind of feel it’s quite different in the sense that Swagger messed up, and lost all semblance of a push, he got “punished”, so to speak, and not being able to perform in Canada doesn’t adversely effect the product. Hardy, on the other hand, screwed up far worse, and was made world champion by TNA, who then went overseas for a tour and could not have their own heavyweight champ with them. That had a much bigger effect on the product, and made TNA look bad in the eyes of some people.
